A general task is one that is not connected to any part of the page. The intended use is for generic requests around the page. For example, “we don’t need this page at all” would be a good use for a general task.
Through, a more interesting way of using General tasks is for all communications and requests from clients. These can be assigned as general tasks to the homepage.
